Alberta Beach Active 50 Plus Club Community Activities offers a huge variety of social activities, fosters friendships & strengthens bonds of companionship for our community adults, seniors and their families.

Our modern facility the Heritage Centre (See Hall Rental) is available to the membership and can be rented for weddings, anniversaries, dinners and a range of activities for all ages.

We believe that our Community Heritage Centre also provides an atmosphere of security, belonging and well being to our membership. We are proud of it and welcome you to join in our programs and projects.

Situated in the community of Alberta Beach, Alberta, this small recreation village sits on the beautiful Lac Ste Anne Lake once named Wakamne or God’s Lake by the Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation. Alberta Beach is a short 45 minutes west and north of Edmonton, Alberta.

Replacement Golf Tournament Friday, August 8th
Due to the rainout on July 25, the Annual Golf Tournament has been rescheduled.  If you didn’t register for the original date and would like to golf on Aug. 8th, please call Moe Laberge 780 924-3395. The dinner was held on the original date, so on the 8th following golf, hamburgers and prizes will be given out at the Heritge Centre.  Register at the hall of call Moe Laberge 780 924-3395

" Meet n’Greet" The Alberta Beach Village Council Thursdy, August 14, 7 – 9 PM at The Heritage Centre  Come and meet the council.  Do you have a burning question?  Come and ask!

Saturday, August 23 – Annual Show n’ Shine Car Show This event is co-sponsored by The 50 Plus Club and The Chamber of Commerce.  Car show 10 AM – 2 PM.  Food Kiosk is being organized by Barb and Bud Love.  If you can help out give them a call 780 924-3566 or Joan at 780 924-2186. The public is invited to tour the displays and vote on "People’s Choice" for best auto.  Plan to come see these works of art!

Sunday, August 24 – Life Members Luncheon
Thank you too Bev Larsson, Phylis Wylie and Shirley Steinke for hosting this event.  All life members have received an invitation.  Other club members are invited to attend at a cost of $5.00 for non life members. If planning to attend please call Bev 780 328-1749 or Joan 780 924-2186.  We need to know numbers for food preparation. Come an visit with some of our founding members.

Saturday, September 13 – Our First Fall Function
THIS IS AN EVENT YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS!  Roast Beef Dinner and entertainment after dinner by "Fiddles and Sticks."  This group has a reputation of being top notch entertainers.  They play Canadian folk music with a touch of Newfie and a sense of humor. They are much in demand and it is a real coup that we were able to book them.
